Protocol Good Practices in the Prevention, Detection and Intervention of Gender Violence in Sexual Harassment and Domestic Violence
The Protocol Good Practices in the Prevention, Detection and Intervention of Gender Violence in Sexual Harassment and Domestic Violence, is an initiative of the Colunga Foundation for its ColungaHUB space, which, through the elaboration and implementation of this instrument -which was co-built with ComunidadMujer and Fundación Probono- leads an unprecedented process for Civil Society Organizations in Chile.
For its realization, the Sustainable Development Goals contemplated in the United Nations 2030 Agenda were taken as a reference., the protocol rejects all forms of gender violence and discrimination that threatens the dignity, quality of life, comprehensive health and safety of the people who make up the member organizations of ColungaHUB; and tends to maintain a decent work environment, in which good treatment, mutual respect, inclusion and decent work prevail for all.
What's your objective?
Prevent, detect and intervene, through the reception and referral, situations of gender violence, in the expressions of sexual harassment in the workplace and intra-family violence.
Who does it apply to?
This applies to all workers, regardless of the type of contract that links them to the ColungaHUB organizations, such as: permanent contract, installment contract, fee slip, volunteers, internships, degree thesis and internships.
How was it made?
It was designed through a participatory process with the ColungaHUB community and reaches all people who work in civil society organizations who are active members of it and who have adhered to the protocol.
This video of the Inclusive Route of the Jobs to Build Future project by Cuso International with the support of the Government of Canada explains how you should identify and act in the event of workplace harassment.
The ONCE includes in its Equality Plan the full commitment to the protection of its workers against sexual harassment or on the grounds of sex or sexual diversity in the workplace.
