Colunga is a foundation that promotes social innovations aimed at generating a systemic change in critical areas such as overcoming poverty, protecting the rights of children and youth, improving the quality of education and promoting new forms of inclusion (migration and social reintegration, for example). In this way, it develops innovative proposals that contribute to public advocacy and facilitate social transformation.
Its purpose is to contribute to overcoming the poverty of children and adolescents, promoting social innovation, advocacy in public policies and strengthening the ecosystem of civil society.
To civil society organizations that develop innovative solutions in the areas of overcoming poverty, with a main focus on children and adolescents, so that they are a contribution to the public policies of the country, and that they have a positive impact on life of people, both in Chile and other countries in the region.
Since 2012, Colunga has supported more than 120 organizations that work collaboratively, benefiting some 25,000 people in vulnerable situations.
Colunga supports civil society through the Social Development Program and the Social Innovation Center.

This program addresses the development of projects, promoting and strengthening their effectiveness through financing, technical advice and accompaniment. It is a unit that promotes social innovation in civil society organizations that lead high-impact initiatives to improve the quality of social interventions. This is done through: the Social Innovation Laboratory, the ColungaHUB community and the Mentorship Program.
It is a space for learning and experimentation, which seeks to empower organizations to improve the quality of their endeavors and social interventions.
It is a space that supports the development and maturation of civil society organizations that lead initiatives in the line of overcoming poverty such as childhood, quality of education and new forms of inclusion. This collaborative learning platform is located in the Providencia commune, and has 2,500 square meters in which, together with Fundación Colunga, 48 civil society organizations with more than 330 people working to overcome poverty in Chile and the region.
To accelerate the development and maturation of the projects, during 2018 a pilot experience was carried out to accompany 7 early-stage organizations, supported by the Social Development Program. Each was assigned a mentor or mentor, with whom regular meetings were established to improve the strategic vision of each project.

To have a membership in ColungaHUB there is an application process through our website. However, we are currently without seats. You can be part of the Colunga Network if you have obtained a fund from our foundation or if you participate in the ColungaHUB community. Currently the network consists of more than 120 institutions.
