Foundation Girls Valientes builds educational intervention projects, from prevention in mental health, with a gender perspective. It seeks to deliver emotional education tools to strengthen self-esteem and identity construction free of symbolic violence (gender stereotypes, gender roles, sexist advertising, among others).
To achieve social change, they intervene in the three levels of learning: parenting, formal education, and mass communication. They work actively in advertising agencies, companies and brands, with training proposals to achieve socially responsible communication.
Mission: They seek to break down the gender gaps through the emotional education of girls, children and adolescents, focusing on the positive construction of their self-esteem, strengthening of personal security, empowerment and critical thinking.
View: Its purpose is to contribute to the construction of a fair society in rights and opportunities for girls and children, so that they may grow up in a society free of stereotypes, managing to diminish the impact of these on their mental health.
They are part of the ColungaHUB community.
