Community-based and sustainable rehabilitation model
Year of support:
100 families per year
The Friends of Jesus Foundation is a community-based organization that works to include children and young people with disabilities and their families in contexts of high vulnerability and social exclusion. It offers services such as: two community centers (Cerro Navia and Curicó), home support, shared houses, work shops and an extension program that allows families their best job placement.
The initiative supported by the Colunga Strengthening Fund between 2014 and 2017, aims to achieve sustainability of the foundation, so that they continue to address with the community the absence of inclusion and rehabilitation spaces for people with disabilities and their families.
