Until July 20, applications for the 2017 version of the Latin American Concausa meeting will be received, organized by América Solidaria Foundation, in conjunction with ECLAC and UNICEF.
It is an initiative aimed at young people between 15 and 17 years old from all Latin America, who are carrying out social innovation projects in their communities, appropriating the UN 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), a set of global objectives to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all.
In its first version, young people from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay, shared workshops and activities aimed at enhancing and developing their skills, to finish by presenting their ideas in a Seminar at the headquarters of ECLAC.
This 2017 they want to repeat the experience, so they invite young people to send their proposals and be part of this initiative that seeks to discover those projects where they are the protagonists of overcoming child poverty in their communities.
The projects selected by the jury will be announced on July 31.
