Servicio País presents the learning of its social interventions in ColungaHUB

The seminar "Learning from practice: the bottom-up of Country Service", organized by the Foundation for Overcoming Poverty with the support of the Ministry of Social Development, rescued the achievements, lessons and lessons learned from the social interventions of the Country Service.

Knowing how, from the experience in social interventions, affects public policies, was the main objective of the seminar held at the beginning of January in ColungaHUB.

The seminar featured exhibitions of Felipe Petit, National Country Service Director; Danae Mlynarz, Chief of the Public-Private Cooperation Division of the Ministry of Social Development and Teresa Matus, Director of the Department of Social Work of the University of Chile.

The professional of the Ministry presented the main conclusions of the call of the "All and All Fund", where she showed that "for civil society organizations requesting resources for systematization or generation of knowledge is not spontaneous". Thus, Danae He stressed that "it is necessary to encourage systematization and the generation of knowledge from practice, and above all seeking to generate alliances between civil society and the world of academia."

The seminar also included a group work, where the participants had to do an analysis of the case of the documentary "The Woodcutters of Sarao", exhibited during the day, which portrays a social intervention of the Country Service.

In this section attendees put into practice the categories of the AVEO approach (Assets Vulnerability and Structure of Opportunities) explained during the seminar by  Mauricio Rosenblüth, Director of Country Proposals for the Foundation for Overcoming Poverty.
