Google with the support of Ashoka, invites social organizations from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru to present their social innovation projects to participate in a competition in which 3 winners will be awarded by country.

The #GoogleOrg Challenge consists of two national and one regional stages. In the first, a jury will select the three projects per country, each receiving $ 350,000. Then, the public vote will determine which of those three organizations will represent their country in a grand regional final, which will be held in Mexico City and where the top prize will be an additional US $ 250,000, the second place will be US $ 150,000 and the third, US $ 100,000.

The projects will be evaluated with the following criteria: impact on the community; technology and innovation; scalability; and viability.

On May 22 at 2:00 p.m., through Ashoka's YouTube channel, Google will explain the contest process and provide advice on how to present projects and budgets, while interested organizations can answer their questions.

Until May 24 the # DesafíoGoogleOrg will receive the applications. Sign up here
