With a total of 13 regions and 17 from the metropolitan region, we present below the list of the 30 projects selected for Emprende El Viaje 2016:
1.-Project Integrated Science in the Classroom: The adventure of Marine Sciences and Mathematics in the school world.
Organization: Center for Advanced Studies, University of Playa Ancha
V Region of Valparaíso
This pilot initiative proposes different activities of scientific diffusion in students of vulnerable Liceos of the fifth region; which comprise a series of workshops grouping marine science and mathematics; interacting and manipulating organisms from their natural environment.
This initiative proposes the use of technological components (TICs) for the development of learning and the search for school talent. The execution of the workshops points towards the development of scientific thinking and skills in high school students, highlighting concepts such as: measuring, classifying, comparing and conjecturing.
2.-Free School Project "Children's Society"
Organization: CSC San Gerardo
Escuela Libre is a space that promotes the participation and protagonism of children in a specific neighborhood of Estación Central, from strengthening the social fabric in the construction of a community. As a School promotes a complementary education that aims at the happiness of its participants, which is understood as an integral development of creativity, recognition and validation of the right to enjoy, based on "doing" as a daily practice of empowerment. Mechanically it operates offering workshops that stimulate participation, assisting children in the construction of the processes of organization and regulation of space and its norms, facilitating curiosity, experimentation and self-management of knowledge acquisition in the development of workshops as in the use of the technological and pedagogical resources of space.

Adolescents currently have a great knowledge about the general use of social networks. However, in many cases, they do not know how to use them correctly and do not know the dangers associated with their misuse, whether individual or collective, personal, social, educational or work.
In this way, this project tries to improve the use of social networks by students of education, putting special emphasis on its advantages and disadvantages, its correct and legal use, the consequences of misuse, its dangers; and the measures that must be taken to put an end to said situation, or to the legal consequences that they will face if they carry it out, even if they are minors.
4.-I am an Independent Program Project: project to develop skills for independent living
Organization: VE Global
The project consists in the improvement of an intervention model for adolescents in a situation of social risk, close to the exit of protective homes. It is a program aimed at providing useful tools for independent living, integrated by 3 stages of work: Discovery (work in training workshops and practice referred to 7 thematic axes: self-esteem, relationships, basic skills, work, academics, finance, all crossed for the technology component); Leadership: instance of mentoring and support to other young people through direct experience and networking; and Citizen participation: stage in which participation in the labor and community sphere is encouraged and accompanied. It has an emphasis on the monitoring and evaluation of the achievements of each beneficiary, the collaboration of the residences involved and the development of contents adjusted to the emerging needs in the creation of a high replicability model.
5.-Abyssal Art Project for people with disabilities
Almereida Cultural Corporation Organization
V Region of Valparaíso
The Arte Abisal project links education, art and people with disabilities (SdD). Weekly workshops are held on the grounds of the Amereida Cultural Corporation with young people (SdD) from the Valparaíso region. These workshops seek to explore and create, around an artistic language, a new relationship between people, generating a horizontal meeting without pre-established ideas where each participant, including teachers, share the same space, language and territory, all this , to generate a change of view in relation to inclusion and (PsD).
6.-Project Rope Firm: Circus to transform
Organization: NGO the Circus of the World in Chile
The objective of this project is to improve the employability and / or years of education of vulnerable young people through the use of non-traditional methods of circus arts, using the circus as an intervention tool. On the one hand, young people will learn job placement techniques and companies, on the other hand, will have more committed and proactive workers, therefore, with less turnover and better results.
The program is held in the circus workshops for 6 months, in which 5 social-emotional skills are developed: commitment, teamwork, communication, self-esteem and creativity. Cuerda Firme has been successfully developed by the circus schools La Tarumba in Peru and Circo del Sur in Argentina.
7.- Project Pincoya Emprende: Academy of Cultural Managers

Pincoya Emprende: Academy of Cultural Managers, is a platform of continuous training that works today with vulnerable young people of the Huechuraba Commune for the improvement of their levels and indices of employability and local development; which has allowed the generation of a portfolio of projects and entrepreneurial initiatives in the field of cultural management of high community impact and articulating more than 10 projects with different entities of national productive development, strengthening the Circus line through our Cultural Warehouse Zebra.
8.- Project Playing discover my rights 2.0
Organization: Corporation Option
The project aims to develop a multiplatform game that promotes children's knowledge and commitment to their rights. The game will promote the formation of citizens with values that foster a vision of the world centered on the human being. The game places the participants in the context of a Magical Community where all are apprentices. They are presented with the idea that magic is the learning of their Rights. To the extent that they know and practice them, they will develop tools to increase their exercise and their role in the community. During the game the participants will go through situations related to the reality of children, inviting them to solve challenges and dilemmas based on collaboration and reflection on situations of violation, exercise of their rights and respect for others.
Organization: National Family Center CENFA
This project seeks to address the problems of coexistence and school retention in a vulnerable school in the community of La Pintana, from the joint work of the different actors that influence the education of children. Through a device of prevention and therapeutic intervention, which has psychological care and family counseling, workshops on parental skills and conversational skills, in addition to various artistic activities for students, seeks to strengthen the links between the school and families, so that a joint work is carried out that tends to improve the well-being of the educational community in general, benefits the coexistence inside the classrooms and prevents children from deserting the school system.
10.-Project Deal made neighbor: Domestic Pegas
Organization: Deal made neighbor
Deal made neighbor links workers (people living on the street who live in hostels), with customers (who are neighbors), offering low cost domestic services (cleaning, gardening, repairs, painting). The work offered is first and low cost. The neighbor commits a reception with a simple breakfast or lunch, which allows creating an instance of link and dialogue.
The objective of this initiative is to link people who reside in Hospederías de Acogida (Hogar de Cristo) with their neighbors and neighborhood, generating social bonds, stability to vulnerable people and offering job positions or training programs or job placement.
11.- Project Replicado Naturalizar Educativamente
Organization: Ilumina Foundation
Paradoxically, the places where children attend the nursery school receive the name of "gardens" for children, although these rather look like "deserts" for children. These are mostly lacking in green areas, and if there are any, they are not used for educational purposes.
Faced with the marked inequality in availability and opportunity of access to green areas that exists in our city, and the recognized positive impact it has in early childhood is that we created the Naturalizar Educativamente program to be implemented in the public system and at the service of the curricular bases To fulfill this mission, we have four fundamental pillars: building open-air educational spaces with a clear pedagogical intention (organic recycling, orchard and greenhouse, exploration, challenge and quiet); train and re-connect with nature to the entire educational community; and that the children have daily contact with the spaces and accompaniment.
12.- Zanmi Project

Zanmi Project consists in the realization of Spanish classes for Haitian migrant children. Their national language is Créole and they often do not have knowledge or command of Spanish, which makes it difficult not only to access various social benefits, but also in the educational development of children and adolescents.
The objective of this initiative is the facilitation of the inclusion of Haitian migrants to society through basic tools such as the language of the country (Spanish), to facilitate their education in school establishments as well as social interaction with the environment, which It would impact not only the lives of children and adolescents but also their families, facilitating their future employment and personal insertion, as well as access to mandatory social rights for the inhabitants of the territory. The initiative seeks to deliver indispensable educational tools to children, understanding that they face a totally different social reality.
13.-Project Luche Mundo ... looking for a treasure

The project addresses the problem of children perceived as inattentive, hyperactive and / or impulsive, whether or not they have received the diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), the most commonly used by child neuropsychiatry. It is an intervention, through a game called Luche Mundo that will be applied to 15 schools, which will be trained in this methodology.
The initiative integrates children, families and the school community, and promotes the welfare, socialization and academic performance of children perceived as hyperactive, impulsive and / or inattentive, from municipalized educational establishments.
14.-Cerro Merced Playroom Project
Organization: Minga Valpo Foundation
The project, Ludoteca Cerro Merced is a community space, of collaborative and associative construction, inserted in the hills of Valparaíso. It is designed and built for children who are involved in situations of social vulnerability, which was increased after the mega fire of 2014 in Valparaíso. Through the Playroom, it is intended to contribute to the life and development of children through healthy, supportive and sustainable play and entertainment, seeking to make a radical change in their lives by teaching them to share with their neighbors, work in teams, values and knowledge of playful and healthy way.
15.-Project Your participatory school Barrio Balmaceda.

The project is based on the concern and initiative of a neighborhood council in the Balmaceda neighborhood of Santiago, who observes that migrant children spend a large amount of time each day alone, which creates a risky situation. current and future. Based on this problem, a project is designed to set up a community school that provides pedagogical reinforcement to children, but when the whole of their needs is glimpsed, an integral model of attention to the population is configured. This model considers psychosocial and psychological care, referral to the community care network, implementation of socio-educational workshops with boys and girls, and parenting skills workshops. The initiative is configured from the community and mobilizes the neighbors around their benefits, and in its execution has been establishing links with the territorial public offer that manages to provide comprehensive care to children.
16.-Project The Practice makes the Teacher: Promoting a cultural change from the Classroom

The aim of the project is to establish communities of practice in Chilean schools, capable of favoring the professional development of their teachers and managers from the first days of their professional practice. "Every child deserves to be educated by great teachers." It is sought that, through continuous improvement, more and more classrooms with a learning environment where respect and collaboration prevail and within which our professors can constantly reaffirm their vocation for teaching. The initiative offers an experience of 5 months of learning and support in 3 stages: Courses for classroom teachers and managers, aimed at encouraging the habit of observing, giving feedback and practicing crucial moments of a class, with the help of a common language; 8 weeks of accompaniment to implement and adjust what has been learned to each context; A virtual community of collaborative learning through observation and interaction.
17.-Young Science Academies Project

Academia Ciencia Joven (YMCA) is a program of Fundación Ciencia Joven, which seeks to improve the teaching of STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics) in educational establishments in the country, through an extra-programmatic strategy for students between 12 and 18 years old. which includes teaching improvement for the leader professor of the academy. The program is developed in person by a leader teacher assigned by the educational establishment, where the students work activities aimed at the development of scientific and leadership skills, with a didactic based on scientific inquiry. In parallel, the teacher in charge is supported by his / her tutor, a professional assigned by Ciencia Joven, as a continuous teacher training, working an additional weekly pedagogical hour. The program runs between March and November of an academic year.

Today, Chile is the capital of world astronomy; around 2022 it will have 70% of the capacity of terrestrial astronomical observation, when inaugurating the telescopes currently under construction. This is an achievement of the country, but it seems that its benefits are perceived exclusively from Elqui to the north. Although the observatories are there, academic, educational and outreach activities can be carried out anywhere in the country. The Cielos del Sur Foundation implements the AstroLab project, a program that seeks to bring the knowledge, discoveries and questions of astronomy to all of Chile, and whose first goal is Araucanía. Our goals are that people from all over Chile can access the astronomical experience and share the pride of living in the country whose seal is this science.
19.-Project Laughter, roots and neighborhood: social and neighborhood bonding experience

This project was born by the motivation of young people trained in the transformative leadership methodology of the Sowing Corporation, through Quiero mi Barrio. The initiative aims to deliver tools to children, youth and adults, enhancing their abilities, generating an integral growth of the infant, contributing to their cognitive development, educating adults to know the world of children, favoring interpersonal relationships, enriching and strengthening communities.
The objective of this project is to develop social skills in children and young people, through a community experience, meeting to work for their neighborhood, to reduce risk factors generated by vulnerability.
20.-Classroom Movement Project; for good teaching

AULA is born with the challenge of making visible and giving more space in the public agenda to all the discussion and reflection on the learning that occurs within the classroom. The idea of mobilizing educational communities to reflect and dialogue about how to promote great transformations in teaching and learning processes was born. The sense of urgency has mobilized more than 1,500 teachers and their educational communities throughout Chile, whose challenge has been to make the "AULA Experience", a methodology created with the aim of facilitating a collaborative, entertaining pedagogical reflection and in 90 minutes . It allows teachers to specify innovative proposals that can be implemented in their schools, spread to other communities and ultimately, feed the discussion of educational policies, placing the learning needs of students at the center of the discussion.
21.-Project Because I fell in love with you: Patrimonial Learning for Andean children and adults

The initiative proposes a patrimonial learning program for children and seniors from the Andean communities of Arica and Parinacota, based on the model Porque me enamore de ti, a simple way to promote heritage conservation in the community as an alternative to sustainable development. The model and the proposal are based on the successful experience of heritage conservation in communities of Arica and Parinacota, achieved by the Altiplano Foundation from 2003 to date. The proposed proposal considers working directly in 32 Andean communities in the region, as well as in educational establishments and groups of older adults in Arica, mostly Andean.
The proposal seeks to enchant the new generations with the value of the natural and cultural treasures that their ancestral communities of Arica and Parinacota preserve, recovering the capacity of conservation of the Cultural Landscape that the own communities have had for centuries and that today is seriously affected. "
22.- Project Sowing Colors for our Neighborhood

The project Sowing Colors for our Neighborhood, is constituted in the possibility of co-creating spaces that contribute to the promotion of Sustainable Ecology and the development of Artistic Spaces in the community.
The intervention focuses on a population sector located in the extreme north of the city of Antofagasta, which presents criteria of high vulnerability, given that children and young people in these sectors, usually do not have the possibility of accessing training spaces sociocultural The access to these instances, allows to diminish the situation of sociocultural poverty of many residents, and for that reason the need to recover the community spaces as places, not only of encounter and recreation, but also of information, dialogue, organization, education and transgenerational cultural exchanges.
23.-Ganamar Project: sea for all

V Region of Valparaíso
Ganamar develops 21st century skills in children and young people between 8 and 18 years of age using the sea and water sports as a 360 ° integration platform, with an innovative collaborative model that allows breaking the socioeconomic gaps that characterize the practice of this type of sports. the high costs of equipment and infrastructure.
The project installs the first high-standard collaborative nautical nautical centers for children and young people from the coastal communities of Chile, regardless of their social status.
The objective of this initiative is to consolidate and scale the Ganamar collaborative model of access to the sea to systematize the contribution to the teaching of skills for the XXI century in future generations through the sea as an integrating means, of sport as the driving force of our users and adding actors of the intervened territory, under a collaborative model.
24.-Project Who are you: improving coexistence in school.

In Chile 10% of students are victims of bullying; 25% of them suffer daily (National Survey of School Coexistence). The project seeks to generate meaningful educational experiences for children from vulnerable sectors; transmitting respect, creativity and participation through creative workshops that use literature, psychology, traditional and spontaneous theater to develop the emotional world of children.
The objective of this initiative is to develop a program of school coexistence and to execute a pilot that generates an impact in a whole school community, and whose center is an active and participative methodology, which due to its innovative and playful nature emotionally involves the participants, achieving deep and lasting results, and whose validity has been demonstrated successfully in various educational contexts.
25.-Project No Project

Faced with the reality of young lawbreakers (IL), in their process of reintegration and decrease in recidivism, Proyecto Propio (PP) together with the Yunus Center (Center) have developed an initiative that integrates young people between 18-24 years that arrive at the Center, for which the existing offer does not meet their needs and interests.
The objective of this initiative is to generate a space for meeting, co-creation and action with young offenders of the Peñalolén commune, which allows them to be empowered as agents of changes in their lives and surroundings.
We detected the need to generate a platform to receive, know, create, implement projects, supports and endeavors that motivate these young people to have development alternatives for their lives. Assuming, that it is complex to determine the true interests or motivations of young people, without having generated a space of trust and dialogue.
26.- Kuma Porá Project and healthy eating: healthy eating program for children

This initiative proposes the implementation of a healthy program for children from 4 to 10 years of age, students of the San Sebastián de Akivi subsidized educational establishment of Easter Island. There will be a complete program of activities with students on different topics of how to deal with healthy eating from practice with children (as) of the school: gastronomy workshop, competitions, radio and TV broadcast. The intervention will last for 1 semester taking advantage of the infrastructure of the place. With the activities, it is expected to generate a concrete "behavioral" change as opposed to healthy eating, where bad habits of food are often eradicated, attributed to the cosmovision of the territory.
27.-Epic Core Project: Childhood Poverty Education; building Araucanía.

La Araucanía has 2 records: it is the poorest region in Chile and it has the highest density of non-profit social organizations (NPOs). There is an important NPO group working in school education in the region or in Santiago.
During the last few years Fundación AraucaníAprende (FAA) has collaborated with other NPOs to establish themselves, use donations law, insert themselves in the region to develop their projects, share physical space, or we have invited other interesting initiatives to work in La Araucanía.
The density of actors collaborating in the region, the needs of support from children and teachers and the regional presence of FAA give the opportunity to formalize a nucleus of NPOs dedicated to education that, collaboratively, allows them to innovate, share services, increase efficiency technical and / or financial, strengthen its institutional work, facilitate its regional insertion, increase its transparency, obtain resources, among others. The objective of this project is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of the education of vulnerable children and young people of the Araucanía, facilitating the access of professors, directors, schools and lyceums to different educational help alternatives available in the country, through of the creation of a nucleus of social organizations oriented to education that are invited and motivated to develop their work in La Araucanía.
28.- Cachapoal Heritage School Project

It is a Citizen Training program for boys and girls belonging to schools in the rural area of the Cachapoal basin, which includes communes such as Coltauco, Doñihue and Peumo. The initiative contemplates two areas "the promotion and strengthening of the Cultural Heritage" and "the sustainable promotion of the Natural Heritage" of the Cachapoalino territory. Likewise, the strategy contemplates the recognition of children as persons subject to rights and agents of their own development, through training in child leadership as a key tool for the development of collaborative networks and the development of an environmental awareness. sustainable, as well as the promotion and recognition of the identity culture. Through a process of diagnosis, work plan and execution of the proposed activities, we seek to encourage dialogue, discussion and meeting with the educational community, faculty, parents and guardians.
29.- Hiking project as a factor of social inclusion

This project seeks to address the problem of marginalization suffered by children and young people with social, economic and cultural vulnerability, mostly subjected to violence through outdoor sports, with hiking being the inclusion factor that will allow us to to constitute an opportunity to promote a healthy lifestyle and to warn about the effects of substances such as cigarettes, alcohol or drugs, through the strengthening of self-confidence, leadership and ability to work as a team.
It is then sought, that they occupy and generate a sense of belonging to their territory and thus finally achieve their reintegration in front of the once empowered society, enjoying their free time in outdoor activities and not in crime. "
30.- Proyecto Mapuches children write bilingual poems
