This foundation develops programs to improve the quality of life, in a sustainable way, of people living in vulnerable conditions, preferably in the Metropolitan Region.
Colunga works in partnership with this foundation developing a draft contracts for impact and payment of results, that allows to connect social investors, civil society organizations, State and donor foundations, to efficiently address certain social problems.
Study of Reinsertion, Withdrawal and Recidivism in Women Deprived of Liberty in Chile
The San Carlos de Maipo Foundation and the Justice and Society Center of the UC Sociology Institute approach this research work from the female gender, with the aim of understanding the processes of reintegration of women deprived of their liberty.
The study followed 225 women who graduated from the Feminine Penitentiary Center of Santiago and the Talita Kum Study and Work Center, during their first year in prison.
