"Since we arrived at ColungaHUB, we felt that we entered the major leagues"

We talked with Madeleine Valderrama, who told us how, through a personal effort in technological ventures and networks, she was able to develop the social project she always wanted.

How did you get to civil society?

Since I was little I was part of volunteer schools, and already in the university I had interest to participate in civil society organizations. However, due to time or money limitations, I could not do it the way I wanted. Fortunately, for a couple of years now, I have dedicated myself to the world of technology. Thanks to the support of the networks that I developed, a project idea of a social nature was created, which could have a great impact.

What is the organization currently working on?

In Be Hope We are currently working on the development of a tool, a app, that can be used by all foundations and organizations of civil society to have a new channel of help. Additionally, we continue working with our itinerant shop B, a space where people of limited resources can shop, choose, try on clothes, shoes, accessories, etc., and take what they like for free, dignifying the donation process.

What is your biggest challenge?

Our biggest challenge for this year is to launch our app, that allows other foundations to position themselves and communicate with the new generations, to motivate, spread and enchant society, with all the actions and stories of effort and opportunities that haunt civil society organizations.

How has your experience been at ColungaHUB?

Since we arrived at ColungaHUB, we feel that we are entering the major leagues. It has been an experience where we have been able to receive a lot of help and support. We move from an idea to an organization with a clear purpose and with large support networks. Thank you very much Colunga!
